Helen Cowing joined the board of British Rowing in May 2026 as an Independent Non鈥慐xecutive Director, and also serves as Chair of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee, bringing extensive experience in financial governance, business oversight and organisational controls.
She has held senior finance roles across multiple sectors and brings a deep understanding of robust financial management. A lifelong supporter of our sport, Helen first discovered rowing in her youth and has recently returned to the water in Gloucester.
